Beijing - day 2

Day 2, we decided to go inside the Forbidden City. A fellow French guy advised us to go there very early in the morning and to start from the North gates, because otherwise there is a milliard of people and not possible to see anything. And the guy was right - we are so grateful to him.

Walking all alone in the Forbidden City, in about an hour or so it will be crowded as hell.

Animals on the roofs are supposed to protect the house from bad spirits, and, of course, the Emperor is ahead.

Pay attention - there is a bad spirit in this picture...
